MandMDirect.com 2010 Designer Splashmac Campaign
Objective

To create a high-fashion, brand-owned product for MandMDirect.com, whilst cementing the brand as an authority in fashion and raising awareness around the brand's charity partner, 'Teenage Cancer Trust'.

Brave Idea

Four Splashmacs were designed by high-profile fashion designers. Mission arranged for celebrities from the worlds of music, TV and fashion to model them for a series of standout campaign images to be used in the press.

Medium

A photoshoot in which the Splashmacs designed by Phillip Treacy, Erdem, Ben Grimes and Holly Fulton were modelled by celebrities such as Paloma Faith, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Lucie Jones and Mr. Hudson. Mission raised awareness of the Splashmacs by selling them at Hop Farm Festival as well as online at MandMDirect.com.

Scope

Mission secured the fashion designers and celebrity models to take part in the campaign, whilst coordinating the photo shoots and being in control of the media exploitation

Outcome

The achievement of widespread media coverage across consumer weekly, national publications and supplements, as well as online. The project raised a significant amount of money for the 'Teenage Cancer Trust'.
