Fame!
Objective

To raise awareness around the campaign 'Capture Your Classic', a nationwide competition by which consumers recreate their favourite scene from a film and win a VIP holiday. The umbrella objective was to widen the audience of TCM by expanding it to a younger demographic.

Brave Idea

Mission made a proposal to TCM to recreate their own classic film scene, which resulted in the recreation of the infamous dance scene in 'Fame', in which anybody could dance and participate.

Medium

Mission closed off Worship Street in Shoreditch, London and filmed a high-production short featuring Denise Van Outen and Johnny Vegas, 50 professional dancers and 350 public extras.

Scope

Mission secured the talent to take part in the campaign, coordinated all photo shoots as well as the actual stunt and managed the media coverage surrounding the event. Mission also managed the media exploitation of the celebrity ambassadors.

Outcome

The campaign received widespread coverage in national, regional and online publications.
