Covent Garden in Bloom
For the second year running, Mission worked with Covent Garden to transform it into one of the biggest open air floral art galleries in London.
In Spring 2019, Covent Garden ‘In Bloom’ returned to the estate, transforming Covent Garden into London’s must-visit floral destination for Spring and celebrating its heritage as London’s original flower market.
Following their UK debut in Covent Garden last year, floral artists Fleurs de Villes returned to the Piazza for a five-day floral extravaganza and VIP preview launch event.
Joining the festivities, Covent Garden’s most desired culinary experiences including SUSHISAMBA and Ivy Market Grill created special ‘In Bloom’ menus, and brand favourites including Tom Ford, Miller Harris, Olivia Burton and Ted Baker created striking botanical window displays.
Special installations adorned the estate including a grand piano filled with flowers, creating perfect picture moments for visitors.
9 influencers were hosted for a tour of the estate’s offering throughout Covent Garden in Bloom and a collaboration with HBO’s Game of Thrones saw Covent Garden renamed the ‘High Garden’ in honour of the series finale, attracting many fans for photographs, which were then also shared on social.
