Re-creating an inclusive Virgin Voyage to showcase the hidden wonders aboard the Scarlet Lady

In Spring 2019, Mission took over the Bankside vaults to celebrate the launch of Virgin Voyages. We created incredible, scenic spaces including a basketball court, beach and crew bar speakeasy where drinks were served to guests through portholes. We maintained the playful Virgin Voyages tone of voice, with play-on-words phrases and hashtags displayed throughout the space. Mission worked with top talent and performers to bring unrivalled entertainment to the evening, with a surprise DJ set by Mark Ronson. To transport guests to the afterparty, we supplied branded party buses including an ambulance, police car and a fire engine.

Brand Strategy & Development

Mission supported across four key areas of the launch: design, branding and build of the event; sound, lighting and projection; food and beverage catering; event logistics and management. This multi-tiered project required a shrewd logistical approach, with down-to-the-minute timings and management of various moving parts. On the night, we also managed the guest list, step-and-repeat moment and the after-party transport.
