Wear it Well


Nobody, not even the most famous celebrities, would turn down an invitation to wear a hat or scarf for sick children, would they?

Matalan creates an exciting Christmas campaign every year to engage modern families and support Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. They wanted to raise a smile as well as funds.

We created two product-led influencer campaigns – Alphabet scarves and Beanie vs Bobble — that garnered millions of impressions and brought in thousands of new customers to the Matalan brand.

To drive conversation, Mission involved global celebrities like Will Ferrell, Kylie, Ellen Degeneres and Judy Dench to wear the scarves and hats, creating eye-catching images for PR, social, in-store and online.

We also secured top girl group Little Mix as partners and gave merchandise to customers who participated in social competitions. Both campaigns were activated across multiple channels, allowing customers to learn more through videos, articles and even a Christmas single.
