Bringing the magic of Krug to life with a celebration of music, food and champagne

Having first pitched Krug Encounters, an event centred around music, food and champagne four years ago, this year we delivered the fourth instalment – Rhythm and Ride. The legacy of the event and its global expansion meant that our activation had to pull out all the stops. We decided on a new creative direction, drawing consumers outside of London for an experience that led them through the magical, Squirrel Wood. We enlisted Neneh Cherry to curate the day’s music and Daniel Alt of The Barbary to bring to life the ‘rough luxury’ ethos of Krug through his menu and its thoughtful pairings with the different vintages on offer.

Alongside placing the event in key listings, our PR team hosted an event preview for a select group of media and influencers to tease the food and champagne to be served. Our Partnerships team welcomed Neneh Cherry to Maison Krug to be immersed in the brand and secured a range of talent to attend and amplify the event. Securing the venue and working on the branding identity was our Events team, who simultaneously created the consumer journey and managed the production on the day.
